Summary Of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Packaging: Package finished products for storage and shipment, adhering to customer specifications
- Material Management: Select and maintain an adequate supply of packaging materials for processing and warehouse activities
- Tool Maintenance: Keep a working set of tools required for packaging tasks
- Specification Adherence: Read and follow both standard and special packaging specifications
- Equipment Operation: Safely and properly operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic packaging equipment
- Documentation: Complete and inspect paperwork, tagging, and final packaging of finished products
- Product Transfer: Move finished products to storage or shipping areas as needed
- Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the work area according to company policies
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with processing crew members and company management
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts
- Reading and Understanding Instructions: Ability to read and understand work orders and written instructions
- Measurement: Utilize measuring devices such as rulers, tapes, and calipers
- Computer Skills: Use computer systems to print tags and manage documentatio
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
- Reliability: Demonstrated reliable work history
