Our Sidecar Copilots bring this experience outdoors by serving freshly prepared sweet and savory crepes and snacks to guests at the estate and at special events. This position combines cooking, guest service, and point-of-sale responsibilities in a fun, fast-paced environment. We are looking for friendly, dependable individuals who enjoy interacting with guests, take pride in preparing quality food, and thrive working independently while representing the Klocke Estate brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the Sidecar for daily service, ensuring all equipment, ingredients, and supplies are stocked and organized.
- Prepare and cook sweet and savory crepes and snacks to Klocke Estate standards with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm while delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Accurately take guest orders, operate the point-of-sale system, process cash and credit card transactions, and balance payments throughout service.
- Maintain an attractive, clean, and organized cart that reflects the quality and standards of Klocke Estate.
- Monitor inventory throughout the shift and communicate product or supply needs to management.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Maintain complete knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.
- Assist guests with menu recommendations and answer questions about Klocke Estate and its culinary offerings.
- Break down, clean, sanitize, and properly store all equipment, products, and supplies at the end of each shift.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing products as needed.
- Support estate events and other hospitality operations when requested.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and tastings.
- Represent Klocke Estate professionally while fostering a welcoming and memorable guest experience.

Preferred Experience
- 1 year of experience in food service, cafés, food trucks, quick-service restaurants, or hospitality preferred.
- Experience operating a point-of-sale system and handling cash transactions.
- Food Protection Certificate preferred
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $16 per hour plus tips
- Primarily daytime schedule with opportunities for additional event hours.
