What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Clerk position at KLLM Transport Services?
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain parts stock inventory and adequate stock of all parts
· Stock part shelves and coordinate parts distribution
· Check in parts order upon vendor delivery
· Process work orders
· Maintain clear work area
· Pick up parts at vendor locations
· Ship out rebuilt parts for repair
· Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:
· Minimum High School Diploma or GED
· 1 year similar previous work experience preferred.
· Good phone, computer, and communication skills.
· Good problem solving skills
· Must be detail oriented and good with following-up on unfinished tasks.
· Basic personal computer or host terminal skills necessary.
· Operate quickly in a fast-paced environment.
