Order selector

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order selector to join our warehouse team. This role involves efficiently selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will be organized, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Duties

• Accurately locate and pick items from inventory based on order sheets or electronic systems
• Verify product quantities and quality before packing
• Use handheld scanners or other equipment to ensure correct item selection
• Prepare orders for shipment by packing items securely and labeling packages correctly
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in order picking, warehouse, or logistics is preferred but not required
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work tasks
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Basic computer skills for using inventory management systems
• Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.63 - $22.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
