What You'll DoAs an Outlet Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for guiding customers through the entire sales process—from greeting and discovery to closing the sale and follow-up.
Responsibilities- Meet and exceed monthly sales and productivity goals
- Earn performance bonuses for surpassing sales expectations
- Develop strong product knowledge of clearance and special-order merchandise
- Greet customers in a retail showroom environment and confidently guide them through the buying process
- Build rapport and identify customer needs to recommend products and solutions
- Educate customers on product condition, features, pricing, and value
- Prepare and present pricing clearly and accurately
- Be responsible for all aspects of the sale from initial greeting through closing
- Accurately enter customer and sales information into company systems
- Perform proactive customer follow-up to support sales and customer satisfaction
- Represent the Klingman's brand with professionalism and integrity
- Utilize company technology to ensure accurate ordering and communication
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, delivery, and sales team members
- Maintain showroom standards and operational excellence
- Continuously improve performance through coaching and feedback
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail or customer-facing sales experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and Saturdays
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule
- Cell phone required
- Willingness to work extended hours when business needs require
- 1 year of retail sales experience
- Experience selling furniture, mattresses, or other large-ticket retail products
- Proven ability to close sales and meet performance goals
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Passion for furniture and interior design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
- Interest in helping customers create comfortable, functional, and beautiful living spaces
- Competitive, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
Must be able to lift and/or move, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
