Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
- Assist in diagnostic tests and procedures, such as laboratory work and medical imaging
- Provide care to patients with various medical needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, and those requiring dialysis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Specialize in specific areas such as ICU, PICU, or toddler care
Skills
- Proficient in physiology knowledge to assess patient conditions accurately
- Experience in providing care for patients with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and interpretation
- Ability to handle medical equipment like DME (Durable Medical Equipment)
- Knowledge of dementia care practices for elderly patients
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
