Sterile Processing Technician (Travel)
Responsible for decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and equipment. Ensures compliance with infection control standards, performs quality checks, maintains documentation, and operates sterilization equipment in a fast-paced acute-care hospital setting.
Schedule : Evenings, weekends, holidays, on call/callback per unit needs
Requirements:
- Certified Sterile Processor (HSPA or CBSPD)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience
- Experience in a 500 bed hospital
- Minimum 6 months of travel experience
- Two professional references from recent assignments
Experience with instrument tracking systems and a strong understanding of sterilization and infection prevention practices are preferred.
Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
