Klimbnow LLC is hiring an RN Oncology for one of our clients in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to cancer patients, focusing on their unique needs and treatment plans.

- Tenure: 13 weeks with possible extension.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate cancer patients’ physical and emotional conditions, including managing symptoms and side effects.
- Safely prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments following strict protocols.
- Manage cancer-related pain, nausea, fatigue, and other side effects through medication and supportive care.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medication side effects, and self-care strategies.
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families coping with cancer diagnoses and treatment.
- Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, social workers, and other team members to ensure holistic, coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient status, treatment responses, and nursing interventions.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as an RN Oncology with Medical/Telemetry, Palliative Care Experience.
- EPIC Experience
- RN License NY
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Chemo Certification
- ONS Chemotherapy Fundamentals and Immunotherapy Administration Certification.
- Must float to like units. If staff float to the ICU or ED, it is to care for Med/Surg level patients or to be a helping hand. Will not practice outside of scope.

Pay Rate:
For Travellers:
- Blended Pay Rate for Traveller: $ 71.00/Hour
- Weekly Gross Based on tentative hours/week: $ 3408.00/Week
Breakdown:
- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $ 1484.00/Week
- W2 Taxable: $ 1924.00/Week
