We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment options and health management.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control policies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology in order to assess patient conditions effectively.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilising critical thinking skills to prioritise care.
Experience
- A valid nursing qualification with current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Previous experience in an emergency or critical care setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
