Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fully Qualified Childcare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children while supporting their developmental growth. This role requires a deep understanding of early childhood education, effective classroom management, and the ability to develop engaging learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Foster a warm and inclusive learning atmosphere where children feel encouraged to explore and grow.
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Establish strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Adhere to all licensing and regulatory requirements for childcare programs.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- 12 core semester units in Early Childhood Education/Development and 6 months’ experience working in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare program
- Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
