We are looking for a Kennel/Tech Assistant to join our team and provide care for our animals. The successful candidate will be responsible for feeding, cleaning, and exercising the animals, as well as providing basic medical care and administering medications. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about animal welfare and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain clinic, patient suites, and exam rooms. (Laundry, vacuum, mop, disinfect)
- Provide food and water to animals in the kennel.
- Monitor the health of animals in the kennel
- Medicate patients as directed
- Assist Veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care as needed.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed when handling animals.
Experience:
- animal care: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
Salary : $38,000 - $49,000
