We are seeking an experienced Production Operations Manager (2nd Shift) to join our team in Milwaukee.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift Production Operations Manager to oversee our production operations and ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, supply chain management, and lean manufacturing principles.
As a Production Operations Manager , you will play a crucial role in leading your team, optimizing production workflows, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the production floor to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate effective supply chain management and production planning.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste within the plant.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports on production output, efficiency, and quality.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the shift.
- Utilize systems such as SAP for inventory management and process tracking.
- General Management:
- Supervise and develop shift supervisors, leads, and production staff to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and safety reminders.
- Train employees in best practices, SOPs, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure accurate documentation of production reports, downtime tracking, and performance metrics.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and conducting routine safety audits.
- Adhere to all food safety and SQF requirements and meet all plant and employee safety requirements.
- Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement projects in support of company initiatives.
- Propose operational changes to improve efficiency, eliminate wasteful processes, and reduce costs.

Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a production management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
- Associate's degree in supply chain or related field.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
- 3 years in an SQF-certified, food manufacturing environment.
- APICS or ISM certification.
- Experience with ERP implementation and development of material replenishment systems.
Salary Range
$69,000 - $85,000
Physical Demands of Role
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and intermittently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds while moving product and/or packaging. Specific vision abilities required by this job include far and near vision and the ability to see color. Depth perception is required to move around departments and supplies. Working Environment
Work is performed in an office environment and will require frequent visits to manufacturing and material storage areas in the manufacturing facilities.
Travel between facilities is required.

The environment in the manufacturing facilities is 35 to 45 degrees and requires the use of protective clothing and hearing protection.
