What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grocery Stock Associate position at Kleins Supermarket?
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
- Stock shelves and displays with products, ensuring proper organization and presentation
- Assist customers in locating products and provide them with information about pricing and availability
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including aisles, shelves, and storage areas
- Rotate and check expiration dates of perishable items, such as produce and dairy products
- Operate pallet jacks and carts or other warehouse equipment to move and transport goods as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Proficiency in operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment
- Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy and keep the store clean and orderly
