Position Summary:
Are you experienced order picker with forklift experience? Join the growing Kleen-Rite Team as our Customer Pick Up Warehouse Associate! In this role, you will pick various orders and stage them for customers to pick up throughout the day. This role is critical to keep orders moving smoothly and customers happy as they arrive to collect their parts and supplies. This role combines warehouse skills with direct customer interaction.
What you’ll do:
- Pick parts quickly and accurately for customer orders, both with and without a forklift.
- Use forklifts and other equipment to safely pick items and load orders into customers’ vehicles.
- Restock pick locations when overflow is available.
- Use handheld scanners, computers, and other tools to complete daily tasks.
- Help keep our warehouse organized, clean, and efficient.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Prior warehouse experience in order picking, required.
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
- Experience working directly with customers, preferred.
- Willingness to learn new technology and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 75 lbs.) on a daily basis, and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to maneuver 55-gallon (500lb) drums properly and safely.
- Punctual individual with good communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
