About the Role
Kleeman Transport is hiring CDL A drivers who are interested in learning flatbed operations and advancing into over-the-road driving roles. This position provides hands-on training in load securement, safety procedures, and flatbed hauling.
This is an ideal opportunity for drivers who want to expand their skill set and move into higher-earning flatbed positions.
What You’ll Do
- Learn flatbed load securement using straps, chains, and proper safety techniques.
- Operate a Class A tractor trailer under training supervision.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain DOT compliance and accurate logs.
- Work with dispatch to understand routes and delivery expectations.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid CDL A license.
- Ability to meet DOT requirements, including passing a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Driving record that meets company and regulatory standards.
- Willingness to learn flatbed operations and safety procedures.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation, including operating a commercial vehicle and handling physical job duties throughout the duration of the shift.
