Logistics Clerk
Location: On‑site
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Mon-Fri
Hours: 28–32 hours weekly
Compensation: $24–$26 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑driven Logistics Clerk to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and daily logistics coordination. This role ensures accurate documentation, efficient material movement, and timely communication across internal teams, customers, carriers, and suppliers. Physical Demands
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Sit for 4–5 hours daily (standing desk available)
- Lift, move, and pack materials 1–2 hours daily
Key Responsibilities
Shipping
- Coordinate outbound LTL and parcel shipments per customer requirements.
- Package materials securely to protect product integrity.
- Prepare all shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, labels, carrier forms).
- Schedule carrier pickups and align with project deadlines.
- Review customer POs and routing requirements for compliance.
- Evaluate carrier options for cost and performance.
- Verify weights, dimensions, freight classes, and documentation accuracy.
- Monitor shipments and provide timely updates.
- Resolve discrepancies, damage claims, and delays.
- Maintain shipping records in ERP/TMS systems.
- Ensure correct picking, packing, and staging with warehouse personnel.
- Manage project-specific certifications and documentation.
- Create and distribute ASNs and delivery notifications.
- Maintain shipping materials and ensure department organization.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures.
Receiving
- Inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Document damaged or nonconforming materials with photos and reports.
- Enter receipts into ERP/inventory systems accurately.
- Label and store materials in proper warehouse locations.
- Work with Purchasing and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
- Provide receiving documentation to appropriate departments.
- Safely use pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant receiving area.
Inventory Coordination
- Maintain accurate inventory through receipts, shipments, transfers, and adjustments.
- Organize materials for efficient storage and traceability.
- Assist with cycle counts and annual inventory audits.
- Communicate inventory issues (shortages/overages/discrepancies).
- Support continuous improvement for inventory and warehouse efficiency.
Logistics Tracking
- Track inbound/outbound shipments for on‑time delivery.
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Maintain shipment records and proactive communication.
- Update ERP/TMS systems with accurate logistics data.
- Support freight planning and scheduling.
- Review carrier performance and suggest improvements.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Customer Service, and Project Management.
- Demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail.
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
