Job Title: Gutter Installer
Reports to: Production Manager
Purpose of Job: To provide excellent service to the customer, ensuring repairs and installations are carried out in accordance with the written scope of work, in a safe and professional manner.
Duties Include:
- Communicate with homeowners regarding repair and installation projects.
- Investigate, correctly diagnose and ensure successful completion of installation/repair.
- Installing gutters, using metal break and basic carpentry skills
- Communicate daily with the Production Manager regarding progress of projects, including customer concerns, problems, delays, etc.
- Pick up supplies and bring to the job site
- Take before, during and after pictures of all projects, and upload to project folders.
- Collect payments from customers when project completed and deliver to office or process timely.
- Complete and submit daily reports.
- Assess and correct problems on the job site in a proactive and timely manner.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed consistently.
- Provide assistance and ensure thorough clean-up at job sites.
- Other related duties as delegated by the Production Manager.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Not afraid of heights and able to use ladders
- Supervisory ability
- Effectively handle stressful situations; remain calm under pressure
- Organization and effective time management; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Creative problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; professional demeanor
- Valid drivers license; able to safely operate a large box truck
- Able to lift or move objects weighing up to 75 pounds
