Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The SFA will report to the Director of Accounting and will be part of the Corporate Finance team, which supports the global financial needs of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Play an active role in the monthly close process and ensure that the financials are accurate and timely
- Prepare and Distribute Daily Sales report
- Perform Monthly G/L Close – Journal Entries
- Prepare I/C Invoicing and I/C Account Statements/Reconciliations between US/WW HQ and Affiliates
- Manage all G/ L Account Reconciliations
- Monitor Central Europe, Italy, and US markets’ books for compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Support for and Analysis of Central Europe, Italy and US markets’ Tagetik Actual monthly financial information, as well as finance/accounting issues
Preparation of monthly, bi-annual, and annual financial statements and management reporting
- Monthly Reporting Package for EXCO – Tagetik output reports.
- Yearly Jafra Markets’ statutory books in Hyperion – US GAAP, upload exchange rates, markets’ financials, book journal entries, consolidate
- Yearly Statutory Holding Companies’ Audits and Financial Filings
- Yearly Plan Balance Sheet – US Market - WW HQ
- Bi-Annual Legal Reporting for US/WW HQ - I/C Reconciliation in Tagetik, Financial data adjustments – pivot table
- Year-End External and Internal Audit requirements
Support the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
- HQ Forecasting and Budgeting in JDE and Tagetik
- Support for and Analysis of Central European and US markets’ Tagetik Estimate, as well as yearly Budget reporting
- Fluctuation analyses and financial statement analytics, providing relevant explanation for fluctuations
- TRAVEL: None | Infrequent/as needed | Frequent
- All other duties are as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with international operations, manufacturing, and consumer products. CPA and/ or Big 4 experience preferred
- SKILLS: Ability to research and resolve technical accounting issues and draft accounting memorandums. SAP experience a plus; CPM planning software a plus. Excellent analytical and financial / complex modeling skills. Superior written, presentation, and verbal communications. Able to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
