Role Description
The Regional Sales Manager - West Region is responsible for leading regional growth through strategic account management, new business development, and best-in-class execution at the point of sale. This role combines commercial strategy, field execution, and team leadership to maximize sell-in and sell-out performance.
You will lead a team of Market Sales Leaders, manage key accounts, and ensure strong distribution, inventory health, and trade investment ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales growth by managing key accounts, opening new channels, and expanding distribution
- Ensure best-in-class in-store execution through strong field leadership and clear execution plans
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams with a focus on results and accountability
- Manage and optimize trade marketing investment to maximize ROI and sell-out
- Oversee forecasting, inventory health, and CRM data accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and HR to deliver business results
KPIS
- Sales performance vs. budget (sell-in & sell-out)
- In-store execution excellence
- Trade spend efficiency and ROI
- Forecast accuracy
- Inventory health across customers and distributors
- Market share growth (e.g., Nielsen data)
- Team performance and retention
Required skills and qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in CPG sales
- Strong background managing key accounts and regional operations and delivering trade marketing and commercial strategies
- Experience in forecasting and data-driven decision making
- Proven success leading field sales teams
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Fully bilingual English / Spanish
- Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems (e.g., Repsly)
