We’re seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our growing team and enhance the technical infrastructure, analytics capabilities, and data performance of the KlariVis platform. This role is ideal for an experienced BI professional who is passionate about data architecture, cloud technologies, and delivering high-quality BI products.
Requirements
As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will build and maintain the technical foundation of KlariVis’ business intelligence solutions. Working closely with the Chief Business Intelligence Officer and cross-functional teams, you will:
Data Infrastructure & Architecture
- Build and maintain BI infrastructure including data pipelines, data warehouses, data models, ETL processes, and BI platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, accessibility, and performance across all BI systems.
- Define requirements for data ingestion, semantic models, mapping, lineage, and quality thresholds.
- Specify and version API contracts and integration workflows with external systems and manage compatibility.
BI Application Development
- Develop and deploy dashboards, reports, and interactive BI applications using Power BI and other tools.
- Design embedded analytics solutions including Power BI Embedded for integration into the KlariVis platform.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure applications meet usability and accessibility standards.
Quality Assurance & Performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, security, or performance issues.
- Capture and validate non-functional requirements such as scalability, latency, and availability.
- Implement automated testing, performance monitoring, and data integrity strategies.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with BI Analysts and internal teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Partner with Product Management to translate customer feedback into backlog items.
- Communicate BI capabilities through documentation, presentations, and training.
Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain and upgrade existing BI solutions.
- Monitor production performance using analytics and telemetry.
- Stay current on emerging BI technologies, tools, and best practices to drive enhancements.
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- 5 years delivering Business Intelligence solutions with strong technical depth.
- 5 years of data warehouse and data modeling experience (star schema, OLAP, or 3NF).
- Strong understanding of ETL pipelines, data architecture, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and APIs/microservices.
- Expertise in Power BI, DAX, and tabular/columnar modeling.
- Familiarity with Power BI Embedded and embedded analytics concepts.
- Financial or community banking data experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on safe, incremental delivery.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BI.
