Estimator Job Duties:
· Represents the company.
· Meets with prospective Customers to discuss their home improvement needs.
· Identifies labor, material, equipment, and time requirements.
· Using the company estimating software prepares a proposal.
· Timely communicates the proposals to clients and follows through to close the sales.
· Sets up and monitors execution of the work.
· Ensures Customer satisfaction and develops Customer relationships.
· Keeps track of performance and timely provides information about each project to the company.
Estimator Skills and Qualifications:
- Great interpersonal and salesmanship skills;
- Professional conduct, punctuality, and attention to detail;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Great verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to use common computer software, email, MS Office.
Additional requirements:
· Valid Social Security Card and Driver’s license;
- Experience and expertise in painting, home improvement or construction would be helpful
