What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Part-Time position at Klamath Orthopedic Clinic?
The South Cascade Surgery Center is looking to hire a Part Time Perioperative Registered Nurse who will provide patient & family focused care as part of our health care team.
Our Surgery Center is a fast-paced environment and predominantly cares for Orthopedic patients aged 13 and over. We are open Monday through Friday starting at 0600 and close when surgeries are done for the day. Therefore, we require a willingness to work varied hours with flexible schedules. With that in mind, we do not work on Holidays or weekends, and we do not take call.
The position we are currently hiring for will predominantly be Pre-Operative and PACU nursing but could potentially be trained to work in the Operating Room. This position would be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and an occasional Friday.
Education, Experience & Requirements:
Current, unencumbered Oregon Nursing License.
AHA BLS & ACLS certification.
Critical Care experience preferred but not required.
Candidate must pass Urine Analysis and criminal background check.
Ability to exert up to fifty (50) pounds. Able to sit, stand, walk for prolonged periods. Able to lift, position, push and/or transfer patients. Able to do considerable stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
