What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Center Director position at Klamath KID Center, INC.?
The director is responsible for hiring and supervising program staff, maintaining all licensing standards, managing aspects of a budget, and communicating with parents and building relationships within our community.
They work closely with our accounting firm to manage budget and funding from grants and USDA.
Other responsibilities include:
Overseeing professional development plans for staff
Acting as a substitute teacher when needed
Observing, training and mentoring staff.
Qualifications:
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
-Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
-step 9 on ORO, CBR certified, CPR, etc.
And MUST love kids!
