What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian III - 8 hrs/day - Ponderosa Night Custodian position at KLAMATH FALLS CITY SCHOOLS?
Rate of Pay: $17.29 per hour; 260 days
FUNCTION: To assist in the maintenance and in keeping the building and grounds in a condition of operational excellence, cleanliness and safety so full educational use is always available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the night crew;
Maintain security of the building;
Insure only authorized and supervised people are in the building;
Report all equipment malfunctions and material discrepancies to the head custodian;
Insure all areas are cleaned by night staff as required;
Be alert for acts of vandalism to school property;
Assume duties of Head custodian in his/her absence;
Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises night crew.
