Job Title: Supported Employment Supervisor

Department: Outpatient

Shift: Monday -Friday 8AM to 5PM

Supervisor Pay Range:

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Salary: $64,691 - $80,863 DOE

Summary:
Position Summary: Directly supervises employees in the Peer Support and/or Supported Employment programs. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Helps individuals secure their own employment and develop skills for the workforce. Supervises and coordinates activities of program staff and volunteers, and students of any Master's level therapy program.

1.    Maintain 20% clinical caseload, depending on duties.

2.    Ensure access, quality and effectiveness for a KBBH program component or specialty.  Make day-to-day workload and workflow decisions.

3.    Provide direct clinical support to KBBH clinicians through live supervision, consultation, education, targeted clinical interventions. 

4.    Insure timely reporting and routine paperwork for the areas of responsibility to our contractors and QI committees.  Take a lead role in Quality Improvement.

5.    Multi-Stage approvals - Review and approve clinical documentation, to include approval of assessments and other documentation.

6.    Collaborative work with Outpatient Programs

7.    Work closely with the Clinical Manager to develop employee Performance Appraisals, Performance Goals and Training Plans.

8.    Participates in developing and implementing agency administrative policy.

9.    Counsels clients individually or in groups on planned or experimental basis and in emergencies.

10.    Trains new employees in areas such as agency policy, department procedures, and agency or government regulations.

11.    Represents agency in community or in interagency meetings.

12.    Process employee timecards by the required time frame.

13.    Insure timely completion of employee status change and/or payroll change forms. 

14.    Manages disciplinary processes and procedures as needed.

Education and/or Experience: 

Must meet requirements to qualify as a QMHP. QMHPs shall meet the following minimum qualifications and shall hold one of the following educational degrees:

     (A) Graduate degree in Psychology;

(B) Bachelor’s degree in nursing and licensed by the state of Oregon;

(C) Graduate degree in social work;

(D) Graduate degree in a behavioral science field;

(E)  Graduate degree in recreational, music or art therapy;

(F) Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; 

and

(b)  Whose educational and experience demonstrates the competencies to identify precipitating events; gather histories of mental and physical disabilities, alcohol and drug use, past mental service and criminal justice contracts; assess family, social and work relationships; conduct a mental health examination; document a multiaxial DSM diagnosis; write and supervise a treatment plan; conduct a comprehensive Mental Health Assessment and provide individual, family and/or group therapy within the scope of their training.

Peer Support Specialist Mental Health Certification is required within the first year of employment. 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Oregon driver’s license, insurable driving record. Personal automobile insurance is required if clients are transported, or any agency business is conducted by the employee using his/her personal vehicle. Must meet the requirements to become MHACBO CADC II Certified. MHACBO certification as a QMHA is helpful but not required. Certifications must be maintained for the length of employment.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: The majority of the work is performed indoors at the office. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
