Cashier/Customer Service Representative

Duties

• Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift
• Provide friendly, professional customer service by answering questions, assisting with product selections.
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and merchandising standards to assist customers effectively
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a clean, attractive shopping environment
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries.
• Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately
• Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately for sales and discounts.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
