You must be okay working 40 hours a week during the summer months and 20 hours a week during the school year. Job Description
- Assist with performing the set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
- Work on assignments that are complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
- Simple troubleshooting as needed.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment is required
- You must be okay working 20 hrs minimum a week
- Basic understanding of optics, mechanical, and electrical principles is helpful
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrate excellent organization skills, with logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate effectively within and across teams, and strive for continuous improvement
- You can stand, sit, bend, and periodically lift 50 pounds with assistance
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
