Group/Division

KLA is well-known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices.

The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Responsibilities

Support US Mfg Operations with the following responsibilities:

• Drive and own the Ops HC process.  
• Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives in Operations. Engage with and collaborate cross functionally with Engineering, Operations, Service and division finance for target setting and reporting of results.
• Continuous improvement mindset, partnering with different areas of the organization, identifying gaps, cost savings and productivity.
• Responsible for the financial analysis of monthly actual results with comparisons to the forecast and engaging with Operations to maximize efficiencies and address issues.
• Ensure that finance policies and proper accounting rules are being followed consistently and SOX-compliant in all areas of responsibility.
• Assist in all other ad hoc requests which require financial modeling, scenario analysis and simulations.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Independent and critical thinker, fast learner and excellent eye for detail

Must be hardworking, has a positive attitude and willingly contribute to a team

Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships

Has a strong sense of ownership of the responsibilities and be self-motivated
