Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift to join our dynamic warehouse team. The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and related equipment to support the movement, loading, and unloading of materials throughout the facility. This role works closely with Customer Service Representatives (CSR), fellow operators, and leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant material handling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of forklifts and attachments to move materials within the facility.
- Partner with the CSR to safely and accurately load and unload trailers and railcars, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
- Maintain active communication with operators and leads to coordinate material handling activities and resolve issues promptly.
- Review load sheets for accuracy and complete all required documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Understand and effectively execute FIFO (First-In, First-Out) material handling principles.
- Adhere to all safety rules, equipment requirements, and facility compliance standards.
- Support housekeeping efforts by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as directed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures consistently.
- Perform CSR duties during off-shift operations when required.
- Complete additional tasks or assignments as needed to support operational goals.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a warehouse environment, demonstrating strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and organize tasks with varying degrees of independence, judgment, and discretion.
- Previous forklift and/or warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong attention to safety, operational efficiency, and quality standards.
Working Conditions
- Ability to remain mobile throughout the warehouse environment, including walking, standing, bending, and climbing in and out of equipment.
- Work is performed primarily in a warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to variable temperatures, noise, dust, and equipment traffic.
- Occasional outdoor work may be required for loading, unloading, or material transfers.
- Occasional work at off-site locations may be required.
This is a second shift position, 6pm - 6am.
