Company Description
KJS Electric LLC is an electrical contractor located in Pottstown, PA, which specializes in residential, commercial, industrial maintenance, repair, upgrades, and lighting. We are growing and looking to add to our team. This is a part time position to start with opportunity to turn full time for the right candidate. Pay is based on experience. Drivers license required. Must be able to pass background check.
Duties
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems within commercial and industrial buildings
- Retrofitting Light Fixtures to LED
- Identify potential and existing problems with electrical systems and lighting, provide analysis and investigation of issues, and determine the best solution for needed repairs (including but not limited to ballasts, lamps, sockets, switches, fixtures and involving voltages from 120 to 480 volts)
- General building maintenance
- Maintain ongoing communication with management on project status and provide daily reports on work completed
- Operate portable power tools, shop equipment, forklift, scissor lift, bucket truck and other mobile equipment
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn is the most important requirement
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a criminal background screening, drug test, and driver's license check
- Minimum of 1-3 years of commercial maintenance experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holiday, emergency calls
- Ability to travel to various job sites with a company truck
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or overnight or out of town shifts with advance notice
- Lift up to 50 lbs. if needed
- Work at heights 30 feet or more
- HVAC experience a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
