What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at KJS Distributions?
We are looking for responsible Delivery Drivers to distribute products promptly to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Complete logs and reports as needed
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid professional driver’s license
- Ability to operate a vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree
We do not offer health care benefits.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Pay is dependent upon verifiable driving experience , but we're willing to interview a candidate with NO EXPERIENCE and offer on the job training to the right candidate
- Primary responsibilities include making deliveries to homes and businesses within a designated route
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical, MVR background and Drug screening
- Must be able to lift regularly up to to 150 pounds
- 5 days per week (one weekend day required) , there can be an opportunity for additional hours.
