Position Overview
The Kiosk Attendant is responsible for safely operating children’s animal scooter rides, providing excellent customer service to parents and children, and maintaining a clean, organized kiosk. This role requires attentiveness, responsibility, and a friendly attitude while ensuring all safety rules are followed at all times.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate children’s animal scooter rides safely and responsibly
- Assist children on and off rides when needed
- Monitor ride usage and enforce safety rules
- Collect payments (cash, card, or app) accurately
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents/guardians
- Keep kiosk area clean, organized, and presentable
- Charge, inspect, and maintain scooters during shifts
- Report any damages, malfunctions, or safety concerns immediately
- Follow all mall policies and business procedures
- Represent the business in a positive and professional manner
Job Requirements
- Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Comfortable working with children and families
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and rules consistently
- Must be able to lift and move scooters if necessary
Preferred (Optional)
- Prior customer service or retail experience
- Experience working with children
- Weekend and holiday availability
