Duties
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks with manual or automatic transmissions across regional routes, ensuring on-time delivery of freight.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to follow optimized routes while complying with all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate route adjustments or address delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- 2-3 years of CDL experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially route driving within regional territories.
- Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and regulations.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments.
- Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures including freight security and documentation compliance.
- Capable of working independently while maintaining a high level of safety awareness on the road.
- Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment and random drug screening
- CDL without automatic restriction preferred but not required
- Candidates must be able to stay out at least one night per load

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,800.00 per week
