Travel: Significant travel expected (if outside of the local city)

About the Role

Kiwa PI Berlin is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support factory and field-based quality assurance activities across solar and energy storage projects.

This role is hands-on and execution-focused. You will be responsible for inspecting equipment, monitoring production, and ensuring that products meet project specifications and industry standards. You will work independently at manufacturing facilities and project sites while representing Kiwa PI Berlin in a professional, client-facing capacity.

What You’ll Do

- Perform inspections at factories, warehouses, and project sites (Pre-Shipment, Post-Shipment, Production Oversight, Support Factory Audits)

- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with specifications and BOMs

- Conduct visual inspections and review manufacturing testing data

- Document findings in real time

- Identify and escalate quality issues immediately

- Support project teams with clear, objective field data

What We’re Looking For

- 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC, inspection, or manufacturing

- Solar/PV or electrical experience preferred

- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently

- Willingness to travel frequently

- High level of independence required
