Job Overview
Join our team as a Holiday Cat Sitter and help our clients and their cats get exceptional care during the holidays. This paid position is a chance to work in a setting where cat care, client communication, and responsible sitting come first. You will give attentive, loving care to cats in their own homes, so they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.
This is a part-time position, with flexible scheduling outside the required holiday dates. It’s a great fit for someone who:

- Is detail-oriented, compassionate, and reliable
- Enjoys solo work and quiet moments with cats but works well on a team
- Wants to feel appreciated and work with a company that gets it
- Is looking for supplemental income
What You’ll Do
- Visit cats in their homes for 35 to 65 minute drop-in visits
- Provide gentle care that respects each cat’s personality
- Scoop litter, feed, play and snuggle (on the cat’s terms), and administer medications as needed
- Send visit updates and photos through our app
- Help pet parents enjoy their time away without worry

Growth Opportunities
Holiday sitters who show up reliably and communicate well are the first people we look to when our team grows. Over time, strong team members may have the chance to:
- Move up our tiered pay structure
- Take on more regular visits after the holidays
- Train new sitters
- Move into a part-time scheduling and admin coordinator role, helping with scheduling, sitter support, and visit report checks
Growth is based on performance and business needs, and it is not guaranteed.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Smartphone with data for app use
- Ability to pass a federal background check
- Availability for Thanksgiving Week (November 26-29) and Christmas/New Year’s (December 22 - January 3), including weekends and holidays
- Availability between 8-11am and 4-7pm.
- Strong communication skills
- Must love cats, including the shy and spicy ones
- Must live in or near our service area: Mandeville, Covington, Madisonville, or Abita Springs, Louisiana
Please note: this is a part-time position with no guaranteed minimum hours or number of visits. Scheduling varies week to week based on client demand, and being available does not guarantee assignments.
