Help Wanted: Cat Café Barista
Are you a coffee lover with a soft spot for cats? Do you dream of making lattes surrounded by purring coworkers? Our cozy and quirky Cat Café is looking for a friendly, reliable, and cat-obsessed Barista to join our team!
Location: Kitty Korner Cafe - Barre VT
Position: Part-Time
Pay: $15 to $17 per hour (Plus tips!)
What You’ll Do:
- Craft delicious coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with care and consistency
- Provide warm, welcoming service to our human guests and their feline companions
- Maintain a clean and cozy café environment, both in the beverage area and cat lounge
- Cook delicious treats and meals for our breakfast and lunch crowds
- Assist with light cat care duties (feeding, cleaning, cuddling, and playtime)
- Educate guests on café rules to ensure a safe space for everyone—furry and human alike!
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior barista or café experience (preferred but not required—we’re willing to train the right cat-loving candidate!)
- A calm and positive attitude—even when things get a little cat-astrophic
- Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service
- Comfort around cats of all temperaments
- Ability to multitask and stay cool in a fast-paced, fur-filled environment
