The Retail Sales Crew is an entry level position to our retail stores.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. There are occasions when work outdoors will be necessary, when this happens one can expect to deal with the natural elements. The noise level in this position is moderate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While some of the time may be spent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, much of the time will be spent standing, walking, sitting, and reaching. Expect to lift up to 25 lbs. Some other physical demands can come from continuous cash register work, sales floor work, and events work. - Assist and inform customers
- Accurately ring up purchases
- Maintain awareness of current promotions and advertisements
- Receive and stock merchandise
- Maintains all areas of the store, including thoughtful merchandising, recovery, and cleaning
- Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
- Monitor and assist cashiers and other staff as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate and relate positively with a variety of people
- Interest in retail
