The Role
The International Sales Manager – Caribbean will lead business development and revenue growth across the Caribbean and potential additional international markets depending on candidates experience. This position may be based in the Southeast region of the United States, the Caribbean or at our headquarters in Pomona, California.
The successful candidate will identify and develop new distributors and customers, expand existing accounts, and execute a strategic growth plan across the Kittrich and 26 California Wholesale portfolios. We are seeking an energetic, independent, and results-driven sales leader with strong CPG experience and established knowledge of these international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver profitable year-over-year sales growth with new and existing customers.
- Identify priority distributors and retailers and develop a one- to three-year growth strategy.
- Secure new category, item, and distribution opportunities.
- Build and deliver customer-specific, data-driven sales presentations.
- Monitor regional trends, competitive products, pricing, and merchandising practices.
- Recommend and participate in key regional trade shows.
- Hire and manage broker agencies as needed.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and partner with demand planning and operations.
- Collaborate with international sales, marketing, customer service, and other cross-functional teams.
- Present quarterly business updates, opportunities, risks, and growth plans to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or a related field.
- 10–15 years of international sales or business development experience within the CPG industry; general merchandise experience preferred.
- Established relationships with distributors and key retail customers in targeted region.
- Proven success securing multimillion-dollar distribution wins and delivering sustained growth.
- Ability to manage multiple product lines / categories simultaneously with extensive sku assortments in a matrix organization.
- Strong understanding of regional product preferences and market requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Connections to broker/rep agencies that can secure face time with key customer decision makers.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
