What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – 2 Days/Week, Flexible Days position at Kittrell Family Dentistry?
We're a privately owned family and cosmetic dental practice in Richmond's Fan District, and we've been caring for this community for more than 40 years. We're looking for a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team two days a week. You choose the days that work best for you.
Schedule & Pay
- 2 days per week, and we'll work with you on which days
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no evenings or weekends
- $58–$68 per hour, based on experience
- 60-minute adult hygiene appointments
- Single-column hygiene, with no double booking
What You'll Do
- Provide preventive and periodontal hygiene care
- Do periodontal assessments and charting
- Take digital radiographs
- Teach patients about oral health and home care
- Build relationships with a loyal, established patient base
What We're Looking For
- A current Virginia Dental Hygiene license
- Local anesthesia and nitrous certification (preferred)
- A friendly, dependable, and thorough approach
- Experienced hygienists, new grads, and semi-retired hygienists are all welcome
