We are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager for our retail store in Lafayette, Indiana. This manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, training and directing staff, and ensuring every client has an excellent customer service experience. This person will manage the showroom and optimize sales performance while ensuring a safe, organized, and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise and schedule store employees
- Cultivate and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer questions and issues
- Monitor sales performance and work to achieve store goals
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and compliant with all company standards
- Handle cash management, deposits, and daily reports
- Maintain safety and security procedures
- Communicate effectively with staff and upper management
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and solve problems
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
