POSITION SUMMARY:
The Recruiting Coordinator supports the full employee lifecycle with a primary focus on recruiting, hiring, and onboarding. This position partners with recruiters to attract, select, and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, screening applicants, administering onboarding processes, and providing general HR guidance to managers and team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meets weekly with Recruiters to evaluate portfolio needs.
- Assist with creating and approving job requisitions.
- Source and screen property management candidates
- Assist with recruiting strategies using job boards, industry networks, trade schools, referrals, and career fairs, industry networking events, etc.
- Coordinate candidate assessments invitations.
- Work with recruiters to draft offer letters and conduct onboarding activities.
- Conduct verbal offers
- Initiate and track background checks, drug screenings, and references.
- Track candidate activity in the applicant tracking system or HRIS, ensuring notes, statuses, and candidate records are accurate and current.
- Consult with Recruiters to understand staffing needs
- Provide status updates and recruiting metrics to leaders throughout the hiring process
- Participate in job fairs, networking events, and community outreach
- Promote the organization's employment brand to attract high-quality talent
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- HR Certification preferred
- 2-3 years recruiting experience preferred
- Experience with an HRIS preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Minimal travel required
