POSITION SUMMARY:
Make sure the grounds are free of trash. Clean and sweep up trash and handle or assist with trash-outs of units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pick up trash on grounds
- Clean out hallways
- Snow Removal
- Trash-outs of vacated units including but not limited to removal of debris, furniture, and appliances, painting and minor repair work.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions, simple correspondence and present information one-on-one or in small groups.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide by 10s & 100s
- Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions with common sense understanding. Ability to deal with problems that involve few variables in standardized situations.
· Beginner computer skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Regularly must stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or bend.
- Regularly must lift up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally must talk or hear.
- Occasionally must lift 26-100 pounds.
- Rarely must sit, climb or balance.
- Rarely must lift more than 100 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normally works in an environment with moderate noise.
- Will be working outdoors year-round.
- Regularly must work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Occasionally must work in conditions that are wet or humid, extremely cold or extremely hot (non-weather), near moving mechanical parts, near fumes or airborne particles.
- Rarely must work in high, precarious places, near toxic or caustic chemicals, with risk of electrical shock, with vibration.
- There is no risk of radiation or working with explosives.
