About the Role
Kittle Property Group, Inc. is hiring a Construction Intern to join our hardworking Construction team at Emberstone, our new multi-family apartment community in San Antonio. Youll work alongside the onsite construction team and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of construction activities. Your level of involvement will depend on project needs, the onsite teams needs, and your individual abilities.

What Youll Do
Assist in the day-to-day management of overall project operations, people, and processes to learn all facets of the construction industry
Support cost containment, risk management, and jobsite safety, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including OSHA regulations
Help ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Interface effectively with staff, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders
Assist with daily work documentation and other project paperwork, submitting items as required and on time
Help ensure adherence to the schedule, expediting subcontractors and suppliers as needed
Support supervision of onsite construction activities in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and, if applicable, Project Engineer
Explore other areas of interest to learn more about the general operations of Kittle Property Group and the departments that support the construction function
Education and Knowledge Requirements
Currently enrolled in a 4-year Construction Program
Basic knowledge of construction technology, equipment, and methods, plus an understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities
Required Skills
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and interpret reports, manuals, and correspondence
Ability to effectively present information to groups including employees, subcontractors, and vendors
Self-starter with a proactive approach who can adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask while remaining detail oriented
Ability to work independently as well as with a team of professionals
Knowledge of Project Management Software such as Procore is a plus

Traveling to different job sites may be part of this internship. Expenses will be covered by the company.
