Job Overview
Security plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the premises while providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage access control and monitor activities at the entrance. Security will be responsible for ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the facility, while also assisting with various tasks that contribute to a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Monitor and control access to the building by verifying identities and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Use a metal detector for each patron and scan IDs.
- Greet guests and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, providing assistance as needed.
- Respond promptly to radio calls from management or any incidents.
- Conduct regular patrols of the entrance area, maintaining vigilance for any suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations when necessary.
- Walk independent contractors to and from vehicles to ensure safety.
Skills
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle challenging situations.
- Experience in security roles is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
