The Kitsap Tennis & Athletic Center is seeking a part-time Full-Charge Bookkeeper. This dependable, motivated self-starter will fulfill the day to day accounting functions. This position reports to the General Manager. Additionally, this person must possess outstanding customer service skills as this position does provide support to the front desk and interacts with members and guests. Accounting Skills Duties include but are not limited to: * Maintain Accounts Payables and Receivables * Supervise daily cash procedures * Bank account reconciliations * Supervise inventory record keeping and procedures * Supervise electronic timekeeping program * Prepare semi-monthly payroll for up to 40 employees, including payroll tax deposits * Quarterly L&I, federal and state unemployment reports and payments * File monthly excise tax reports and payments * Process month-end closing and produce monthly financials * Maintain Personal Property Asset listing, prepare Personal Property return * Coordinate with CPA for federal tax return preparation * Experience with MS Office -- especially Excel and Word * Proficient in Quick Books, including Payroll and custom reports.Interest or experience with Racquet sports, fitness or swimming a plus.Non-profit accounting experience preferred.
