We are seeking a strategic and operationally-minded Executive Director to lead our premier non-profit athletic center. The Executive Director is responsible for KTAC’s overall success, focusing on member satisfaction, financial sustainability, and high-level administrative oversight. This role requires a leader who can stabilize operations during staff transitions and ensure rigorous compliance across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day facility and center operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members.
- Organizational Development: Partner effectively with the Board of Directors (BOD) to achieve organizational goals and support BOD decision-making, support BOD recruitment, development, and engagement, oversee organizational budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability, and provide financial reporting and analysis to the BOD and partners
- Administrative & Personnel Management: Stabilize and manage staff; oversee recruitment, training, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations to ensure a culture of excellence.
- Compliance & Due Diligence: Maintain strict oversight of professional certifications and credentials for all instructional staff (e.g., USTA/USPTA) to ensure organizational integrity and safety.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage KTAC’s budget, financial reporting, and resource allocation to achieve sustainability and long-term growth.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and implement initiatives to increase membership, enhance KTAC’s offerings, and foster community engagement.
- Member Relations: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with members, addressing feedback and concerns promptly to enhance the overall member experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of experience in athletic center management, sports management, or a related leadership field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sports Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial acumen with experience in budget oversight and proficiency in center management software.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing diverse teams and driving operational excellence during periods of organizational change.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
