What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Tech position at Kitsap Physical Therapy?
A physical therapy technician is needed at our multi-specialty clinic located in Poulsbo. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting our physical and occupational therapists with entering chart notes, requesting imaging reports, assisting patients on and off of equipment, assisting patients to treatment rooms, etc.
- Instructing patients through exercises and stretching as directed by a physical or occupational therapist.
- Helping our front desk staff with faxing, answering phones, scheduling, etc.
- Cleaning duties including washing and folding laundry, sanitizing equipment, cleaning treatment rooms, sanitizing restrooms etc.
- Ability to stand, walk, and repeatedly bend for extended hours. Ability to lift 25lbs frequently up to 40lbs seldom from floor to waist height.
Our clinic operates Monday to Friday between 7AM and 6:30PM. Applicant must be available for all shifts with the flexibility to cover call outs as needed.
