Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides a positive first impression of Kitsap Mental Health Services to clients and visitors by extending a cordial welcome and assisting with needs.
- Maintains and schedules appointments following agency scheduling policies.
- Performs patient registration tasks to facilitate customer service. (e.g. schedules patient appointments, takes phone calls, register and update demographics for client accounts).
- Ensure positive agency communication by answering telephone calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Return messages left on voicemail system.
- Screens calls, takes messages, and provides information. Answers questions regarding client appointments.
- Update client’s billing information. Process payments and co-payments.
- Maintain and manage clients records
- Keeps the lobby entrance tidy (e.g. picks up trash). Alerts housekeeping or maintenance of more extensive needs.
- Provides direction and wayfinding assistance to clients and visitors
