What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Technician position at Kitsap Marina?
Seeking Marine Outboard Technician
This is a full time position working from 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. It includes paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.
The applicant must be able to cross into Canada for technical training, be fork lift certified, have a clean driving record, a WA. State Driver's license and marine outboard experience. Must possess required marine, hand, diagnostic and air tools as well as a tool storage box. Tools specific to the manufacturer are in house and the property of Kitsap Marina.
Applicant must be mindful and efficient, take direction well, both written and verbal, be patient, organized, careful, controlled and very neat in finishing. Must have a working knowledge of marine electrical, plumbing, NEMA networks, fuel systems. and hydraulic steering.
Computer entry of all parts, labor and project documentation is required. Willingness to work with others and on other repairs or shop projects when not working on outboards.
Pay: $30 to $40 DOE
