Examples Of Essential Duties
**What you will bring, required education and experience**
- Two years of general fiscal/accounting experience.
- Related education demonstrating required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job may substitute for up to six months of experience.
- Two years of work experience in a fiscal office performing bookkeeping/payroll maintenance including use of a computerized financial management system (FMS).
- Payroll and/or AR/AP experience using automated (electronic) bookkeeping methods.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience using Workday HMS and FMS software
- Governmental Accounting Experience
- The successful incumbent will or may have unsupervised access to a secured/confidential facility or computer system(s). As a result, Kitsap County will be conducting an extensive criminal background check by law enforcement agencies, which will include fingerprinting.
